Welcome to our mini library. Things are evolving as our Head Librarian, Elizabeth (Bitsy) MacMoran prepares to return from her whirlwind, globetrotting book-buying adventure.
About Bitsy
Bitsy MacMoran spent her whole career working in the public library system, first as a volunteer page, then rose up through the ranks to eventually become Head Librarian. When her husband Bart unexpectedly died a few years ago, Bitsy was grief-struck and decided to retire early. She did what any grieving, book-loving widow would do - she booked an open-ended travel ticket to fly around the world. Over her three-year journey, she traveled to the dusty old bookshops in London in search of rare first editions. She traveled to Bangkok, where Old World tomes could be purchased by the pallet-load for pennies. She has scoured the world, buying books and soon she returns home to start her next endeavour: Bitsy's Books and Beans, a used bookstore and coffee shop which combines the two loves that still remain in her life.
